Electronic roller measurement The Planix 6 has an 8-digit readout and runs for up to 30 hours continuously using a rechargeable NiCad battery. Its features include selectable metric or English scales, averaging of multiple measurements, display retention, cumulative measurement and electronic zeroing. A battery power saving feature automatically turns off the instrument when left idle for more than three minutes. The Planix 7 offers all the functionality of the Planix 6, as well as displaying areas directly in terms of square centimeters, meters, inches, feet or acres, as well as the ability to enter different X and Y scale factors.
